'EPOCH' was recorded live at Stapleford Granary in rural Cambridgeshire, England. The album comprises a selection of music from various periods of Alžbeta’s life, with each piece connected to an important memory or milestone. 'EPOCH' was recorded whilst Alžbeta was pregnant with her first baby boy, which makes it even more precious to her. Whilst the pieces are not directly connected to each other, each track has been chosen especially to showcase the diversity of this beautiful instrument - the saxophone.

Alžbeta was fortunate to work with some wonderful people and incredible musicians in the making of this album, including pianists Viv McLean and Jonathan Musgrave, who she met during her years at the Royal College of Music, and continues to perform with in her professional career. Alžbeta loves chamber music and the thrill of playing with other people, so she was delighted also to have the chance to record some pieces with the Hidden Compass string quartet.
